Downhill on High Hills Sommerrodelbahn, Vienna

There are a lot of summer sleighs in Austria. And I found one closer to Vienna, High Hills Sommerrodelbahn. I din’t stay too much to think if I want or not to take a tour. I just bought tickets and jumped into the sleigh. After a few instructions from the operator, I asked only one question: “What happens if I don’t use brake?” and of course I decided to get full speed adventure.

After a few minutes of ascension to the top of the hill, I was ready to start my downhill at full speed without using brake. I start the camera and press the lever to accelerate. The sensation was great so I decided to do it again, and again. I liked it.

The track isn’t so longer, I see on the internet more interesting tracks in other places of Austria, so next time I want to tray a bigger one. But if you are in Vienna and want to try, it is very easy to get in this area. Take the subway U4 until at the end of line (Hütterdolf) and after that take the bus 249 or 250 to the station Hohe Wand Wiese. If you use a GPS, these are coordinates of High Hills Sommerrodelbahn: 48° 13.775′, 16° 12.149′

And the second tour:
